Warranty

The commercial warranty is granted based on the warranty certificate issued by SC ROTAKT SRL and complies with the provisions of Law 449/2003, GO 21/1992 and Law 296/2004 with subsequent amendments.

The warranty period enters into force on the date of purchase of the product and is provided through the national network of service units specified in the warranty certificate or on www.rotakt.ro

Before using the product, it is mandatory to read and follow all the recommendations contained in the user manual.

Warranty conditions

Providing the warranty  relates to the conformity of the product, subassemblies, spare parts found to be defective, if the defective product falls within the conditions for granting the said warranty.

The warranty is granted only after the presentation of the Warranty Certificate, completely filled in, signed and accompanied by the original / copy of the tax invoice or tax receipt with which the product was purchased.

The warranty is granted only if the product is presented whole, unassembled, properly packaged, so that the product is not damaged during transport to the seller or to any authorized service. Any defects caused by transport without being properly insured will be borne by the buyer.

The warranty is granted only for defects in material / manufacturing and / or workmanship, and does not extend to accessories, consumables (filters, oil, grease, etc.) or subassemblies subject to wear and tear due to prolonged use of the product. (fastening systems, damage to the protective housing due to incorrect handling, transmission belts, sealing rings, etc.).

Any repair or replacement will be carried out within a reasonable period of time, agreed between the economic agent and the buyer. For buyers who are consumers according to the legislation in force, the established period may not exceed 15 calendar days from the date on which the buyer, as the case may be, informed the seller about the non-conformity of the product, or handed over the product to the seller or to the person designated by the seller, based on a handover document.

The standard warranty term granted is:

24 months for individuals (consumers)

12 months for legal entities

The warranty period is valid from the date of purchase of the respective good in the possession of the buyer / consumer.

Products are not covered by warranty if:

Products do not have an identification label, or the product series is no longer visible.
- The warranty certificate does not have all the fields filled in and is not signed by the seller and the buyer.
- The installation, commissioning, use, routine or periodic maintenance, storage, as appropriate, have not been followed.
- Accessories or consumables, lubricants, fuel or fuel mixture - as appropriate - of inadequate quality were used.
- The products are unsealed or have been repaired by unauthorized persons.
- Damage such as scratches, bumps, ruptures of removable or non-removable elements, which were not notified to the seller at the time of purchase of the product.

Current and periodic maintenance:

According to the instructions in the user manuals.

For the assembly and commissioning of the products it is recommended to use qualified and authorized personnel.

Before using the product, it is mandatory to read and follow all the recommendations contained in the User manual.

If the purchased product has technical malfunctions, please:

1. Consult the user manual to check if the malfunction is due to improper use and can be remedied by following the specifications in the manual or the technical recommendations available on www.rotakt.ro

2. If the malfunction persists, please read carefully the conditions for granting the warranty presented in the Warranty Certificate and choose the most convenient of the following options:

2.1. Contact and deliver the product directly to the nearest Service Center.

It is recommended the direct delivery of the defective product by the customer to the service center because:

→ the product will be immobilized in service for a significantly shorter time to remedy the defect (repair can be performed on the spot or, as a rule, in a maximum of 3 working days).

→ any possible additional transport costs will be avoided in case the repair of the product cannot be done without costs. (defective product does not meet the conditions stated in the warranty certificate, replacement of accessories and / or consumables - filters, spark plugs, oil). 

2.2. Contact and hand over the product to the SELLER from whom you purchased it, who has the legal obligation to ensure the repair of the defect.
