What criteria should you take into account when buying a ROTAKT tiller?Depending on the activities you want to perform, carefully analyze the functions and constructive characteristics of a tiller. You can easily find the specifications in the data sheet or they can be given and explained to you by the specialized staff in our stores.

Before purchasing a walking tractor, you must consider the activities you want to use it for, the structure of the agricultural crop in the household and the intended area. Depending on your needs, you can find a walking tractor that meets all your criteria.

Do you need a driver's license to drive a tiller on public roads?No driving license is required if by construction the machine does not exceed 25 km/ h; it may be supported and driven by a driver, or it may be equipped with a trailer fitted with a driver's seat, but not exceeding a maximum authorized total mass of 2.5 tones, including the mass of the walking tractor.

The tiller does not start?
Check if it has fuel, the gas valve is open, the gas reaches the carburetor.
To check, unscrew the decanter glass (from under the carburetor, recover the o-ring) with the petrol tap open.
Check that the power button is in the ON position.
Remove and check the spark plug, clean and adjust the distance between the electrodes and dry the spark plug.Replace the spark plug if necessary.
If the machine does not start, contact an authorized service center. -
Engine speed is too high?Adjust the length of the flexible accelerator cable, change it if it is worn.

The engine has no compression?
If not properly maintained, over time, the engine may lose compression. This is due to excessive wear of the segments.
The problem can be fixed by replacing the segments. -
How much oil should be put into the Rotakt engine and how is the engine maintained?The amount of oil is 0.6 l for 7 hp petrol engines. For 9 hp and 10 hp diesel engines the amount of oil is 1.65 l. The oil type is 15w40.
Oil is the life of an engine and it must be changed at least after 50 hours of use or at least once a year.
If the oil is dirty, it must be changed earlier.
The air filter should be changed as often as possible or cleaned after about 1-2 hours of use in dusty conditions. -
The air filter is clogged?Remove the sponge from the filter housing, clean it, add oil again
